How To Get Proof Of Insurance For Your Venue

Many venues ask every vendor for proof of liability insurance. You can get ours yourself at any time from your Candid Studios client portal.

Step 1

Open For Your Venue In Documents

Choose Documents in the sidebar and find For your venue. The Proof of insurance card shows the certificate and the date it is current through.

• Choose Download to save the PDF.
• Choose Copy link to copy a link you can paste into an email to your venue coordinator.

Good To Know

• The For your venue section holds "certificates and forms venues often request." You can forward the link straight to your coordinator.
• The portal says most venues only need the Proof of insurance file.
• The card is a PDF and shows the date the certificate is current through.
• For an additional insured request, include the venue's exact legal name and contact email in your message.

If Something Looks Different

• If Documents is empty, the page explains: "Agreements, payment schedule, and estimates show up here once booking is confirmed. From Home you can also message Candid if something looks missing."
• The page also says: "Documents like contracts and invoices will appear here as your project progresses."
